This page is dedicated to SOME of the investigations we have done, a detailed discription of occurances during, and our conclusion as to whether or not the location is haunted. Keep in mind S.E.G.R.A. does private residences, buisnesses, graveyards, and where ever else paranormal activity may occur.

**Keep this in mind also our conclusion is the OPINION of our team and reflects what we think about the particular investigation. IT is just that OUR OPINION, everyone is entitled to feel differently.**
The Investigation:This investigation took place in Clayhattchee Alabama. This church was built in the early 1800's and has had it's share of history. I had experiences there as a child which made me really want to get inside to investigate, unfortunatly the church would not allow us inside, but permitted us to do an investigation of the grounds surrounding the church on the outside.
It didn't seem like much to us, the outside of a church, we would have rather been inside, but if we were the investigation probally would not have been so interesting. The night started off slow, with not to much going on. As it got later activity seemed to pick up. Throughout the couse of the investigation we saw several shadows run from the back of the church into the woods behind it, unfortunatly we could not seem to catch this on film.
Throughout the 6 hour investigation we had our recorders running constantly never turning them off. We didn't hear to much but insects and normal night time sounds while out there. Other than that not to much went on during the acutal investigation.
They say that activity experiances are not nessaciary to catch good evidence, and after this particular investigation I agree with this thought.
The Evidence Review: This was, as it always is, a long process. We didn't seem to experiance to much besides the shadows, which is what we were mainly hopeing for to corrilate with our experiances. Insted we caught some stuff we never expected to...audio and lots of it. We caught a total of 19 EVP's most of them Class A's.
One of which made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. I asked if there was any entity out there with us if it was friendly the answer way a harshly whispered "No..." then we heard laughing through out the 3 minute segment and at the end there were several voices all together saying "He will take you" this had to have been the creepiest EVP my team has ever encountered.
We also caught a couple of interesting pictures, and several which appeared to be paranormal, but were later dismissed after our follow up investigation that i like to do to try and disprove pictures. About 4 of the 166 pictures that we took that night had something that was legitametly paranormal.
So over all not to bad of a night.
Our Conclusion: After the invesigation and careful evidence review, based on the amount of EVP evidence we caught and how they appeared almost perfectly clear, also the fact that we have 4 positive pictures to go with that, in our opinion the gounds around the church appeared to us be Haunted.
The Investigation: This cemetary is located in Clayhattchee Alabama. This is a spot that we have been to numerous times and like using it for training purposes. It is an extremely active cemetary. Everytime my team goes there we catch something. We have caught pictures of everything from Ecto mists, to full body apparitions. This cemetary seems to be more sight then sound thought since we have only caught 9 EVP's over our time of visiting, but the EVP's are all class B or A. But this is a nice training site that never seems to dissappoint.
The Evidence Review: We have taken countlesss amount of pictures and audio in this location, but we always get something here. Over the years we have caugt approx. 30 pictures that we could not find a rational reason for, and 9 EVP that are all Class B or A.
It is a great place to investigate, and one of my favorite training sites for new investigators.
{Keep in mind it is a rule among ghost hunters that graveyards are not and cannot be haunted. Also each investigation team has their own ways of doing things and we here at S.E.G.R.A. believe in seeking the truth where ever it may be. Whether it is in a private residence, business, or a cemetary we will go to all lengths to catch quality proof, or disprove alleged activity and local urban legends}
Our Conclusion: After the numerous times we have visited and the massive amount of evidence we have aquired through our visits, all of which was carefully reviewed. We do believe in OUR OPINION that Providence Cemetary in Clayhattchee Al, is Haunted.
The Investigation: This investigation is quite interesting it takes place in Newton Alabama, in a cemetary that is quite old the oldest grave we could find was from 1799 which tells me it has a lot of history.
We have been out there a few times and everytime we go we always seem to catch some pictures that cannot be explained. It is not a very good place for audio it seems we have only caught 1 EVP from here.
During one particular investigation during recording EVP work me and an investigator were walking and taking pictures and we stopped walking only to hear footsteps continue on behind us. When we turned around no one was there. Luckily we picked up the SSP (Spontanious Sound) on the voice recorder. We also entered a certian part of the cemetary that seemed to have a phantom smell of strong, either cheap or homemade perfume. It was so strong it was gut wrenching.
This investigation is still ongoing.
The Evidence Review: This was a pretty good review, concidering the fact that during this investigation i caught the best apparition picture that my team has ever taken. You can see a woman wearing period clothes walking through a set of bushes, but the strange thing is....her torso is completely transperent. You can see her head, shoulders, legs and her shoes are translucent (clouded but still visable). At the exact time we took that picture we caught an EVP. The voice of a woman was heard saying "please, just go home" then no more than five minutes later we caught a picture of a hooded figure that appears to be either floating or riding a horse. Not sure yet.
Our Conclusion: This is a site that we find very interesting, and drawn to. We will always be returning here to see what we can catch. And even though we have 2 great pictures and 1 good EVP is that enough to claim a place as haunted?
No it is not. We do however believe this place is Paranormally Active, but we don't have enough conclusive evidence to say it is Haunted, and we won't say it is until we have overwhelming proof.
So until further notice we believe this location merits follow up investigations, and the offical outcome of the case is pending.
The Investigation: This investigation hit close to home for me, since it was done for my sister. The house is located in Enterprise Alabama. The occurances reported were footstepts in the attic, she (and witnessess) hear children crying when all of her children were sound asleep. She would get up to check and they would be asleep. She also enocountered cold spots and static charge throughout the house on occasions. Then the night before the investigation she had one of those lamps that you had to touch to turn on, and it turned on by itself like someone had touched it, only she was in the hallway not in her room.
Then during the night of the investigation it was quite active and interesting. In the garage of the house I caught the most convicing peice of evidence that i had seen that We personally caught with was video footage of a ladder sliding across the floor. In the office leading to the dining room we caught a picture of a male standing in the doorway staring back at us. Then there was the the Youngest neices bedroom which is by far the most active room in the house. In this room alone I caught an amazing number of EVP's ranging from Class C to Class A. In this room I caught some of the clearest EVP voices I have ever heard, all of them matching the discription of a small child that is female, and i also thing the male presence is her father and from the EVP I caught his name appears to be Bobby. Then i made my way to the master bedroom, in here i had an unforgettable experiance. While kneeling on the floor taking video i felt a hand grab me around the kneecap. (one of our best EVP from this investigation is showcased on Ghostfoto.Com)
After the investigation me and the client sat down and i recorded on our digital voice recorder a post investigaiton interview...and i am gald i did. During the interview we not only caught a growl of some kind, but a frequency spike with a voice inside of it that said "Do not do anything, I love people" It almost made my hair stand up on end.
The Evidence Review: The review for this case took awhile of trying to disprove all that we caught, insted of picking through to see what we had caught. I have never had a case where this massive of an amount of evidence had been caught. There was a total of 17 Class A EVP, 13 Class B EVP, and 9 Class C EVP. There were also 7 SSP which is sounds that appear out of nowhere. Along with the EVP there was a picture caught of a full male apparition, and we also have the video footage of the ladder turning around on it's own. So it was a great investigation.
Our Conclusion: After the careful evidence review we had seen that we had captured a well over normal amount of evidence to prove that paranormal activity was going on here.
Never did i expect the investigation to come out like it did, I was however expecting something since I had prior experiances there. But after we reviewed all the evidence and found it all to be actual paranormal activity in our OPINION the Potter's Home in Enterprise AL is Haunted.
*Update: The Potter family no longer resides in this house, the have moved to New York, not because of the haunt but work related matters*
The Investigation: This case really hit close to home for me, since it was my home at one time. This house is what got me into the feild of paranormal research. I have had several unexplainable occurances in this house over the years that I lived there, which I kept out of my mind so it would not affect our investigation in any way. My parents pretty much blew off whatever I told them was happening to me, until I moved out and then the occurances started to happen to my mother.
She called us in to do the investigation after a 35 pound storm door flew off a shelf where it had been since I can remember hitting her in the head and causing her to get stitches in her forehead. My dad was reluctanct but decided to sit in for the investigation.
We got started at 11:00 p.m. and almost instantly started having werid occurances. My team was scattered throughout the house, one team in my old bedroom, one team in the garage, one team in the living room, and me and my father took the attic. (Each team had 2 people). While in the attic we started with an EMF sweep, we picked up absolutly nothing, not even registering a 1 on our detectors. We started EVP work as soon as we opened the attic enterence. In the attic 45 min into the investigation we had a solid 6 spike on our EMF and I instictivly took a picture. Above the EMF detector there was a bright orb that showed up, and it was not in the picture before or after the spike.
Then we heard some excitment downstairs so we went to see what was going on. We went exactly where I was expecting to, my old bedroom. The stir was over a chair that was in the corner of my old room. There was a spike of 7 coming off the chair and it stayed constant. So obviously I wanted to find the root cause. We moved the chair out of the corner and there was no EMF what-so-ever being picked up from the location of the chair. So we started looking over the chair itself, there was no reading coming off of it. We dis-assembled the chair and rechecked both the corner and the chair when it was taken apart. We could not find a natural source for the EMF field. We decided to put the chair back together and push it back to the corner. As soon as we did the EMF field returned. Then one of my investigators, Keith, pointed out something that was even stranger the reading would only appear on the meter with all flashlights off. When we turned them on the field would disappear. This made me think of one thing: A Haunted Object.
As it turnes out the chair was given to my parents from a couple of people that lived down the street. They went and asked why they had just given it away, and they stated the fact that the owner of the chair was killed approx. a month ago in a car accident and they just couldn't look at it anymore, this fueled my idea that this object was haunted.
Other than that, we experianced extreme battery drain on some of our equipment. We took 149 pictures throughout the night, with a Fujifilm Finepix S700 digital, a poleroid 35mm, and a regular disposable. Wanted to cover all aspects of photography.
I also tired to draw out the spirit to stir out the activity by trying a technique called prevoking. I rarely use this since it can have negative results in certian situations. I sat in the chair and called the spirit out telling it that the chair was mine and asked if it was p****d off that I was sitting in it, and we caught an EVP directly after the question that said "I'm gonna come find you" which makes me think of the possablity of direct contact. Which direct contact when a question is answered is always some pretty good evidence. There were a couple other questions that appeared to be answered by the male spirit that inhabits the house.
The Evidence Review: This case had alot of photographic and audio evidence to look over. There were several pictures that were possable paranormally active pictures, but most of them I ruled out as dust, and a couple of bugs. There was one picture was really amped about which appeared to be a figure standing behind two of my investigators at the end of the hallway. After careful review and some help from another paranormal team overlooking the picture for verification of what I thought it was we ruled that it was a reflection off a panel wall causing a human like form to appear behind them.
I was not able to disprove the orb over the EMF detector in the attic, I tried everything possable to do so. We also caught a picture of a strange looking figure standing outside the window looking in. I tried to rule it out as reflection but then i realized the fact that from the angle the picture was taken and the distance I could not see any possable chance of reflection. The last peice of photographic evidence comes from the attic, I snapped a picture towards the back of the attic and from underneath one of the main beams half of a face appeared, and was pretty creepy.
Audio recording wise we found a few interesting things, we caught a woman's voice when there was no women present at the particular time of the recording. There was also a lot of EVP evidence which included a male voice that appeared in my old bedroom. There was approx. 10 EVP total, and a couple unexplainable noises.
**There were also other pictures that I have taken over the years in the house that were taken into account several of them had strange phenomena. A "demonic" face in the mirror in the living room taken during a Christmas Party and a picture that I couldn't even begin to describe that was taken in the backyard a couple of years ago.**
Our Conclusion: After the investigation and careful review of the evidence, some of which was looked over by an investigator from another group for verification, it is our opinion that The Elwell Home in Level Plains, AL is haunted.
We based this desicion off the clarity of the EVP captured (along with the amount of them), and the 2 photos that we found during the evidence review. (Including the other pictures that were reviewed caught prior to investigation)
*Update: We have been invited back for a follow up investigation and will be conducting that sometime within the coming weeks. We will update this case file as soon as we review the evidence from the follow up.*
The Investigation: This investigation was brought to me by one of my investigators. He had lived in this apartment for roughly a couple of years, and said he never really experianced anything in the apartment but wanted to see if there was anything there. At the current time there wasn' t to many things going on here so I figured we could do this and it would be a good training exercise.
So we started the investigation at 11:00 p.m. and throughout the night we hit all the rooms and tried various new ways of contacting any present spirits that I had been wanting to test. We set up a video camera, and audio equipment as well as taking 110 pictures.
During the actual investigation itself we did not have many personal occurances besides a battery drain and one or two cold spots. But we hit this place from every possable angle we could throughout the investigation. Even though there seemed to be nothing going on, during the evidence review things got a little interesting.
The Evidence Review: This review was carefully done since much didn't happen during the investigation me and the team were hoping that maybe it contacted us through pictures or audio recording. Overall we found 3 solid pictures one of which can be seen on our photo evidence page. Two of the pictures contained orbs in motion that had a nice solid circular shape, the gave off thier own light, and they had a trail following them. The other picture was the one that struck me a very interesting.
In the picture we are all sitting in the living room doing a mass EVP session. I took this picture and on the left hand side there appears to be what I think is a strip of ectoplasm. It is solid white, with a purple outline to it, and it is positivly giving off it's own light.
Then there was the audio. We caught several unexplainable noises including footsteps in the kitchen and this strange clicking noise that happened several times throughout the investigation. Also I like to see if I can contact any spirits by getting them to knock in response to a question. I had asked several questions and even though nothing was heard by any investigator there several times a knock appeared after the question on our audio recording device.
In the master bedroom of the appartment we caught 4 EVP three of them were a male voice, and one was an overlapping male and female, which is a Class A EVP. You can hear a male voice say "why are you here bothering us" and half way through his sentances a womans voice appears and it said "I'm Worried". This is the first time I had ever caught 2 disembodied voices that overlapped together.
The Conclusion: After careful review of the evidence aquired during this case, we caught a total of 8 EVP and three solid pictures. So in conclusion it is our opinion that this appartment in Enterpise, AL is Haunted.
*Update: The person that requested this investigation no longer lives in this appartment and a friend of theirs now resides there and no other paranormal activity has been reported*
The Investigation: This investigation we called "Little Man" since the claims of activity ranged from kitched cabinet doors opening to things being moved, and even the young man who was staying there claimed to have seen a "dwarfish figure" standing in his bedroom doorway. The other claim is that most of the activity had seem to have taken place during the "Anti-Hour" or 3:00 a.m.
We went in and started the investigation with an EMF and tempature sweep. (Keep in mind we turned off all breakers to the house) There was no real noticable tempature change noted during inital sweep, and the base temp was 72.4 degrees throughout the entire house. The EMF sweep yeilding nothing out of the ordinary on inital sweep.
We split up into teams of 2 to tackle this case from all angles and we swapped rooms at random time throughout the night. While in the bedroom where the "dwarfish figure" was seen myself and one of my investigators-in-training Bruce were doing EVP work and tryed some new techniques we had heard of. We placed the EMF detector after conducting a detailed sweep of the room, in the middle of the floor. We found no EMF inside the room at all. We started asking the entity to make the device on the floor make a sound since ours have a noise meter on them also, not just visual. We proceded to ask we got a response. The EMF detector picked up a spike of 4, and this happened several times during this EVP session. The strange thing was when we wrapped up our investigation in that part of the house we picked up the Gauss meter and the whole room had an EMF of 8.2 This field was not there when we originally entered the room.
In another room at the exact time another part of the team heard a loud banging coming from the bathroom which no one was in. We switched rooms and continued on. While in the living room, I, Matt, and Bruce had a tempature change of almost 8 degrees. When we asked the entity to drop the tempature even more we all heard a voice say "I Can't Do It" this was not picked up by the recorder in the room, so there for can not be used as evidence.
Throughout the night we kept seeing shadows, and we stepped outside to take some pictures and left a stationary recorder in the kitchen. This proved to be a smart idea.
The Evidence Review: We sat down and started to review the evidence from this case the next day. With the amount of activity we experianced, we were ready to get started. We took 143 pictures, nothing was found in any of them that could be found as conclusive evidence, but there was one that none of us could explain we are not sure if it is paranormal or not. We checked for reflective surfaces, but found none, and it was just odd that this bright object appeared, with a black mist coming off of it.
There was nothing found on video, but where we had good luck was audio. We caught a couple of good EVP and had some unexplainable noises including cabinet doors opening and shutting while no one was in the house we were outside doing some photographs.
In the bedroom where the small figure was seen we caught some good peices of audio, 2 of which appeared to be male voices, and one female. Only one of the EVP seemed to be trying to make direct contact with us. We asked if it would give us a sign of it's presence because the resident was tired of playing games, the response we got said "You're it, I'm the Game". There was nothing else evidence wise.
The conclusion: We had a night full of personal experiances, but found very little evidence to back them up. We never caught the shadow that we kept seeing, or the "dwarfish figure" that was said to inhabit the house. We had a couple of good EVP and one picture that still baffles us, we may never know what that is in the picture. We have caught evidence that there is something paranormal activity going on.
We can not, however, say this place is haunted. Yes we have evidence that something is going on but we lacked the overwhelming peices of conclusive evidence that we needed to conclude a haunt.
The Investigation: We call this place the field house, because it is off in an overgrown field and has been abandoned for as long as I can remember seeing it. There are trees grown up all around it and if you didn't know exactly where it was, there was a good chance that you wouldn't even know it was there.
A little history of the house, it was bulit in the 1920's and was lived in as far as we know of until a couple years after the Vietnam War. This is coming from people who have lived in the area for a long time. I went in and did a daytime walk through to make sure of any dangers that may have been and during this walk through I found a peice of paper that was quite interesting and a good peice of history for us to know. The owner of the house (whose name is left unknown on this site) was unfortunatly killed during the Vietnam War due to a fatal gunshot wound to the leg. Soon after that the family that he left behind (a wife and 3 kids) moved out and just seemed to have dissappeared.
This was actually one of the first cases my team had went on, and during this investigation we had really no equipment. We went in armed with only a 35mm Camera and our instincts. That was it. In the very back bedroom , the room farthest away from any exit, we started asking questions even though we didn't have a recorder at the time. We asked if there was anyone there to please give us a sign of it's precence. Then we heard a loud footstep and a dragging noise coming from the attic...there is only one problem the enterance to the attic has been sealed off and there is no way to get up there.
The Evidence Review: Since we only went in with a camera there was only about 30 pictures to look over on this particular case. We found nothing in any of the pictures.
We had a pretty nice personal experiance but nothing left seemed to equal proof.
The Conclusion: This case was not conducted with really any equipment but we still had a good personal experiance. That is not enough to label a place as being haunted though.
*Update: We will soon be conducting a follow up investigation now that we have more legit equipment, and have the possablitiy to discover whether or not something paranormal is happining in this abandoned house. We will update you all as soon as we conduct the follow up.*
The Investigation: This investigation was put in to work about 3 months before it had actually taken place. The investigation took place in the small town of Clayhattchee, AL. The team was asked to do the investigation by one of our team members who recently bought the house. He was at work when his wife texted him and said that she heard the toilet flush and then footsteps which seemed to go from the bathroom to the living room, which the footsteps seemed to be made by something that wasn't there. There was also an occurence where the back door handle jiggled like someone what trying to come inside, but no one was there. There were two people in the house who heard this happen. Also the same two people heard a door slam shut, but there were no doors open in the first place. One of the doors is boarded shut from the inside so it couldn't have been that one unless it was residual engery.
The Evidence Review: I sat down eager to go over the evidence from this case. It was a night that didn't seem to have much going on personal experience wise. We had a couple of them but nothing that could not be explained by some kind of natural occurence. So it was left up to our audio, picture, and video evidence to tell us the truth about this case. We caught a total of 9 peices of audio. Only a few of them I would have concidered Class A's and a couple of Class B's. We also caught 4 SSP which is a noise that appears on an audio recording with no logical reasoning as to why it appeared. We also had a couple of pictures that have been intensly reviewed, with no decision on whether or not they are paranromal, we just can't figure out what had caused this images to appear. In the back yard is where our greatest personal experience came from. We took the EMF detectors outside and there are no powerlines at all near the backyard and we were about 30 feet away from the house. When the EMF detector was held above head level, it would spike up to 6, and 7's. Then dissappear. During one of these spikes I took a picture and got 3 pretty solid orbs around the detector...coincidence?
The Conclusion: After carfully reviewing the evidence, and going over the few personal experiences...we caught a couple good peices of audio, and had one good experience. Along with the 2 pictures we can't explain add that all up together and we think, in our opinion that this personal residence has some paranormal activity going on, but not enough to concretely label it as being haunted.
