In this field there are goings-on that are supernatural and not quite understood. The reality of this page is that sometimes people get in over their heads and sometime before they realize it are too far gone to do anything about it.
There are many dangers in the field of paranormal investigation many that are NOT known to us because no one takes a stand and lets people know about it. Now there are people who have been investigating for years without any problems, but there are others who seem to be able to unknowingly attract things that have the tendancy to attach and can wreak all kinds of havoc in their lives.
As I said this isn't the case for all people, but we want to promote this so no one has to experience anything like an attachment. Not all attachments are "Demonic" in nature but there has been times when a seemingly "Demonic" force has forced it's way into peoples lives and the person doesn't notice it until it is too late.
There is a website that is dedicated to these dangers and making people aware of them. This page is dedicated to those people.
The site is full of videos and advice they they offer to people wanting to become more aware with the potential dangers of being a paranormal investigator.
I would like to add my own advice before you visit the site, if I may.
1) If you go on an investigation afterwards pay attention to the dreams that you have. It has been documented that negative forces will attack you normally when you are most vaunerable which is in the state of sleep. If you seem to have re-occuring nightmares or dreams that relate to violent acts and are out of your normal types of dreams then you may have an attachment. It is to me the easiest way to tell before things get out of hand.
2)My second peice of advice is about children and the paranormal. I do not believe that children should be involved in paranormal investigations because they are more sensitive to the activity and could more easily gain an attachment. I have 2 daughters myself and when they are old enough I will make them aware of the things that can happen in the paranormal world and tell them about my own experiences and let them decide if it is something they would like to look into. But as far as anyone being under the age of 18 going on an investigation in my opinion is not a very well thought out or safe plan for any team...but once again that is just my opinion.
With that being said please check out this site and make yourself more aware of the dangers of being a paranormal investigator before you decide to grab your camera, and by a voice recorder...hearing this may change your mind of doing so.
